The RRBM Fellows are a group of distinguished RRBM contributors whose formal terms of service have ended, but who continue to promote and advocate for RRBM and the adoption of responsible research principles in business and management. Fellows do not have formal responsibilities; instead, they engage informally as ambassadors who help to grow RRBM’s purpose, reach, and impact.  This Fellows group was launched in Fall 2023.

Purpose:
  • Honorary – RRBM Fellows are listed on the RRBM website. Inauguration as an RRBM Fellow recognizes individuals’ exceptional work and contributions to RRBM.
  • Ambassadors – Fellows are encouraged and empowered to serve as ambassadors of RRBM as opportunities present, promoting the organization and advocating for responsible research principles in business and management.
  • Volunteers – Fellows can expect RRBM representatives to reach out occasionally with opportunities they may be interested in, but with no expectation of commitment.

Eligibility:
  • Individuals who have had an exceptional impact on RRBM’s purpose, reach, and impact. Eligible individuals are not currently serving on the Working Board or likely to serve in the future.
  • Nominations are approved by the Executive Committee upon the suggestion of the Dean of the Fellows.
  • Individuals must actively accept the invitation to become a Fellow.

Organization:
  • Coordinated & Represented by a Dean of Fellows (initially, Anne Tsui) with support from a Vice-Dean (Mary Jo Bitner). There are no formal terms of service for these roles.
  • Communications
    • Regular RRBM bi-monthly newsletter
    • Quarterly Fellows Communications from the Chair & Dean of Fellows, specifically aimed at empowering Fellows to be ambassadors for RRBM principles, events, and initiatives.
    • Bi-annual gatherings (virtual and/or at annual RRBM Summit) – Welcome new Fellows, Reconnect in conversation with Fellows colleagues.
