Leavey Summer Research Grants

The Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University has a long history of careful, credible research that is valuable in the world. Beyond many faculty members’ interests in topics related to serving our Silicon Valley community, financial research support enables faculty to take on responsible research focused on all issues related to the school’s mission:

The Leavey School of Business is a community dedicated to innovative learning and scholarship that transforms people, ideas, and organizations to create prosperity here and around the world. We blend theory and practice, find inspiration in Silicon Valley’s entrepreneurial spirit, and are committed to a collaborative learning environment that develops leaders of competence, conscience, and compassion.

Our internal summer grant program helps to put these words into action. A committee of faculty evaluates the proposals on the basis of “contribution to our mission, as well as potential for influential and prominent publication.” Some submissions include:

  • Corporate Social Responsibility and Stakeholder Governance Around the World

  • Who Bears The Brunt? A Review and Research Agenda for the Consequences of Organizational Wrongdoing For Individuals
