Purpose: To explore a better life, and contribute to a better world.
A member of an ethnic minority in China, born and grew up on the Tibetan Plateau, I focus my research on organizations’ embeddedness in their social and ecological environment and its consequence on sustainability.
Research Context | Organizations in Indigenous communities around the world especially on the Tibetan Plateau and in Canada, where scholars have found deep physical, cognitive, and spiritual connections between people and their place.
Methods | I received both qualitative and quantitative training, and adjust my research methods to each study, often a mix of field observations, interviews, archive data, econometric modeling of panel data.
Software | MAXQDA for qualitative and mix method data, and R for quantitative data.
