I am a business professor from the USA and based in central Tokyo since 2011. I work very well -- in person and/or remotely -- with learners and organizations that believe in the importance of human-centered design and positive leadership.

For the last ten years, I have been adapting courses from top-tier, international business schools for use in Higher Education and Executive Education/Learning & Development in Tokyo. My courses and programs are designed and delivered with empathy and compassion for the learner. When the learner is a professional, I design mechanisms into the learning experience that help him/her drive learning transfer from the classroom to the workplace.

Fundamentally, I am committed to helping learners to improve

1) the quality of their thinking skills and communication skills,
2) their ability to make ethically-informed decisions, and
3) their ability to take prudent, principled, strategic actions in an increasingly globalized and uncertain world.
