In my research I focus on early stage entrepreneurship characterised by competing logics, goal conflicts, resource constraints and uncertainty/ambiguity. Theoretically, I am interested in context, conceptual model building and conceptual history. Empirically and practically, I focus on emerging markets and low/middle income countries. Impact-wise, gestation activities in venture emergence can be process or outcome oriented. I was process oriented before but more outcome oriented nowadays.

I think it is important that scholars are engaged in the social fabric rather then being a detached academic career broiler chasing journal impact factors and citations, why I have made it my core speciality to put high quality research to concrete use in societal and corporate collaboration on all levels of society.
